Steering drag link rebuild, zerk fittings, transmission linkage, driveshaft, clutch cross-shaft

The original drag link

Some pretty ancient (and solidified) grease

Disassembled & needing degreased

Ready to reassemble

Note: prior to installing we shot it with matte clear to prevent rusting

Drag link installed

We installed (approx. 18 zerk fittings on the upper & lower A-arms and tie rod ends)

Part of the transmission shifter linkage was seized from corrosion & rust. Started disassembly.

Took some persuasion, but we got it apart.

Dropped them into the ChemDip. We'll get back to that in a few days...

The original driveshaft.  See it?

Original driveshafts were stenciled with part # "3712377"

Difficult to see in the photo, but there's the "237" portion of the part # stencil

Connecting clutch cross-shft to chassis - need to sand off some powder coating

Trip to Chris' shop...

Loaded up the sand blasted/refinished seat frames ...and the '57 seats Compared them to what you get from Al Knoch reproductions Chris...
